In structuring contracts concerning the sale of goods and services including the sale of intellectual property (e. g. software and production know-how), various business practices as well as national and foreign market factors have to be taken into account. International and foreign law and, in particular, the law of competition need to be considered when formulating international sales contracts.
Sales and Distribution Law have developed into an own legal field. More than in most other areas of law, this requires an interdisciplinary and international prospective.
In this regard, our office focuses on the following:
- licensing;
- the law of distributors and trade representatives;
- international cooperation and joint ventures;
- e-business systems;
- franchise law.
